Loue Village Store is much more than just a store – it is a success story born of passion and community. When the village was in danger of losing its only grocery store, it was saved by local entrepreneurs Tommi Kaarninen and Janne Jurva . They hired Elina Miettunen , who had the courage and faith in the power of local food, as the storekeeper. Her team, experienced Anne-Mari Tennilä and customer service professional Laura Iivari , have helped transform the store into a lively meeting place. Miettunen describes her work aptly: "There is not a single day that I don't feel like going to work."
Local food first
Loue Village Shop specializes in local food and natural products. The selection includes a wide range of authentic, locally produced delicacies. Here you can find everything from meat and fish to honey, root vegetables and various drinks. Elina aptly describes the origin of the products: "The cows graze four kilometers away. The milk is obtained from there and is even made into ice cream, it's truly local food."
